I want to share some of the excellent work by the WDPRO team. The new site, built on the LAMP platform, supports DVC’s aggressive growth goals with our Next Gen look and feel, rich media experience, live chat, and soon…Japanese content. The standardizing of our flash media engines, starting with the DCL Next Gen launch, has been great and really helping our brand consistency and performance across the board. One of the exceptional visual designers here at WDPRO is James Yule and deserves lots of credit along with the rest of our creative and executive team.

It’s finally arrived, my team The Monster Cartel will face Sofa King Good for the league Championship. We both won our divisions (Awesome Div. and Bitchin’ Div.) and advanced to the playoff finals.
The undefeated, #1 ranked Monster Cartel will face off against the perennial Hollywood Champion (and one time Studio Champion by another name) turned Studio Refugee, Sofa King Good! It will be a slobberknocker to end all slobberknockers!
Should be a fun game. The 16 Team Studio Division is definitely one of the most competitive kick ball divisions in Southern California and I would guess the West Coast. Competitive co-ed, adult kickball sounds hilarious and entire premise is a little ridiculous but join a league and you’ll quickly learn it’s more fun to win and give high fives then get creamed every game (I’ve been on both sides). Everyone heads to a league sponsored bar afterward so if you don’t win the game at least you have the chance to dominate the team that just beat you at flip cup
Update: We lost 3-0 in the finals, better luck next time

It’s focused on more recent interactive media. I wanted this portfolio site to be clean, quick and very straight forward. I built the site in xHTML and HTML5 since almost every executive in my office is carrying an iPad. The low-band site works well to launch many of the featured projects which are 100% flash based. I am also working on a fun flash site (not a portfolio site) to showcase my crazy flash skills.
Have a great weekend!
Team Awesome! faces ‘Your Mom’s Team’ in the Star Division Playoffs tonight. Also, Max is up for the ‘Best Mascot’ category in the End Of Season Awards. He won it last season, will he repeat?
UPDATE: TAW pulled out a crazy victory last night, winning 3-2 and advancing to the next round to face a stellar squad, the Dandy Lions.

Max sports a purple jersey with a glow-in-the-dark skull and crossbones to Team Awesome games. He usually sits on the team bench and brings good luck
I never thought I would be ‘that guy‘ but he also is a pretty wicked Shark mascot for AKT
Getting ready for a playoff double header. The Monsters went undefeated in the regular season.
Update: We won both games, beating the Valley Guerillas in the semifinals. We face the perennial Hollywood Division champions, Sofa King, in the Winter Studio League finals described as what is to be the slobberknocker to end all slobberknockers!
Pretty amazing site for Disneyland’s California Adventure Park’s new attraction, the World of Color. Not sure if I can say who built it (it wasn’t me, but if you’re familiar with their work it’s pretty easy to tell). They did a fantastic job on this amazing interactive minisite. I’m sure it will win a lot of awards.
Check it out! DisneysWorldofColor.com
And on a side note, there is no possible way this could have been done in HTML5. Flash FTW!

Happy Birthday to greatest dog I could have asked for. I look forward to many happy years to come. It’s crazy how much this little pug has changed my life. He’s doing great and in awesome shape from all the fetch we play at the park after my games.
This weekend we’ll meet up with Lula visiting from SF, Max will love that!

I was the lead flash designer and developer on the project. We used a large portion of the previous minisite. The Attractions and Entertainment section is completely new.
